I grew up in Lakin Kansas, a small western Kansas town west of Garden City on highway 50. After high school I attended Fort Hays State University in Hays Kansas graduating in 1983 with a BA in Communications. I started with State Farm in 1985 in Tulsa Oklahoma. I moved to Ponca City and started my agency in 1995. I am married to Taunia who works in the office with me and together we have six children all grown and out of the house. We also enjoy five grandchildren. Recently Ann Bandy moved into my office location so now we have two agencies in one location serviced by Amber, Laci, Taunia and Sabrina. On a personal note we enjoy camping in 17 ft Coachman Clipper Cadet. We have had it since 2018 and have been to the Rockies and the gulf coast along with several visits to area state campgrounds. There is nothing better than the great outdoors!
